Here’s what TurntableLab said- “Vin Sol (along with Skin & Bones) caught me off guard with this one. “Countdown” is a super-crisp house track with a great vocal sample and a kit of Daft Punk disco filters. It really sounds like it could have come out in the early 90s (especially with those awesome vocals, please tell me they’re original not sampled). Breaking through the tackles of one hit wonder linebackers, “Main Line,” is a great companion b-side with some sinister electro-house that reminds of late nineties french house a la I:Cube.
